Al Wakrah have signed veteran striker Waleed Hamza from fellow QSL side Al Arabi on an extendable one-year deal, AL Wakrah official website announced on Wednesday.

The transfer of the former international has been the subject of much speculation, with numerous clubs were believed to be in the running for his signature after it was obvious that things between him and his former club have reached a dead end since he was benched for the majority of the elapsed season.
