Uzbek international Jasur Hasanov has joined Qatar Sports Club on a
one-year deal.
The left winger was presented to the media at the club on Wednesday evening.
Hasanov, who played a pivotal role in Lekhwiya's Qatar Stars League
triumph last season, also featured for his national team in the Asian
Cup in Doha last January. Hasanov will replace Iraqi international
Qusai Muneer at Qatar SC.
The 28-year-old Hasanov, known for his incisive runs, will join
Qatar's other three foreign recruits Abdeslam Ouaddou and Yousef Safri
(both Morocco) and Luiz Marcinho (Brazil).
Qatar SC Football Head Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad bin Nasser Al Thani
expressed happiness with the deal.
"We're very happy to sign Hasanov, who put up a series of fine,
consistence performances during last season with Lekhwiya. He's a top
performer with the Uzbek national team as well. We're sure he'll be a
great success at Qatar SC," said the official.
