With the Qatar Stars League coming to an end, leading up to the anticipated HH Heir Apparent Cup, last week's spotlight returned to the reserve league race.

 

Al Arabi were crowned champions after cursing past AL Wakra 2-0 while chasers Al Sadd slipped into a  shock draw against Al Khor 1-1.

 

 Mr. Ali Al Nuami, deputy Secretary General at the Qatar Football Association crowned the winners  during the half time of the  relegation playoff match between Al Sailiyah and Mesaimeer on Saturday.

 

The QFA official also handed over silver medals to Al Sadd who finished second and bronze medals were rewarded to Al Rayyan for third place.
