Defending champions Lekhwiya on Saturday crushed Al Gharafa 2-0
to move to the top of the points table in the Qatar Stars League
(QSL).

Goals by Nam Tae-Hee (12) and Lassana Diaby (85) allowed Lekhwiya to
go past Al Sadd.

Coached by Djamel Belmadi, Lekhwiya now have 31 points from 15 matches.

Asian champions Al Sadd - who remained in the lead for three weeks -
have 30 points from 15 matches.

It was Lekhwiya's third consecutive win following victories over Al
Jaish and Al Ahli in the last two weeks.

For Al Gharafa, coached by Bruno Metsu, it was their 5th loss this season.

In the third place are Al Jaish with 25 points from 15 matches.
