Qatar’s national team were forced to a goalless draw by visitors Oman in an international friendly played at the Jassim bin Hamad stadium on Friday.

The match saw head Coach Sebastia Lazaroni fielding an unfamiliar line-up owing to the absence of the six Al Sadd players set to partake in the Asian Champions’ League final in Korea tomorrow.

Qatar will host Indonesia and Bahrain on November 11 and 15 respectively in Group B of the ongoing Asian zone preliminary group stage qualifier to the 2014 World Cup.

Oman will host Australia On November 11.
