DOHA: The Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy said it will not
comment on the alleged bribery allegations against Qatar 2022, this
was announced in a statement released on Sunday.

“In regards to the most recent allegations by The Sunday Times, the
Supreme Committee stands by its previous statement

investigation into the 2018 and 2022 World Cup bid process, with which
we have fully cooperated. Consistent with FIFA’s rules we have been
asked to refrain from commenting on the investigation and we will
comply with that request. Qatar has won the bid on its merit and we
are confident that at the end of the appropriate process, the award pf
the 2022 World Cup to Qatar will stand.”
