DOHA: HE Sheikh Abdullah Bin Nasser Bin Khalifa Al Thani, the Prime Minister and Interior Minister of the State of Qatar and Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy, presided over the fifth meeting of the Executive Committee this year.

The meeting was attended by HE Sheikh Mohammed Bin Hamad Al Thani, Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee and Managing Director of the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy; HE Sheikh Abdulrahman Bin Khalifa Al Thani, Minister of Municipality and Urban Planning; HE Mr Ali Shareef Al Emadi, Minister of Finance; HE Mr Salah Ghanem Al Ali, Minister of Youth and Sports; HE Mr Abdullah Saleh Al Khulaifi, Minister of Labour and Social Affairs; HE Mr Saif Ahmed Jassim Al Sulait, Minister of Transport; Mr Hassan Abdullah Al Thawadi, Secretary General of the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy; and Mr Ali Abdullah Al Thawadi, a representative of the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy.

Following the meeting, HE Mr Salah Ghanem Al Ali, Minister of Youth and Sports, was led on a tour of the headquarters of the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy at Al Bidda Tower and was briefed on the operational plans, daily work flow and master plan for the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar™. His Excellency also met with Supreme Committee staff to thank them for their efforts and urged them to continue their work to implement the tournament’s projects and achieve a sustainable legacy for the State of Qatar after the finals.
